Are you looking for a book that will evoke strong response out of you? A book where you want to scream and throw things? A book that from chapter one your mouth is hanging open and you stare at the screen and say “WTF?” Like really, WTF!!!!!! Author Aleatha Romig takes you to places where you will probably be a bit uncomfortable (well more than a bit), a place you never thought you wanted to go–but still you CAN’T stop reading it! You will NOT be able to wrap your mind around the scenes in this book but you won’t want it to EVER end…because deep down you LOVE the sick and twisted!
Claire lives in Georgia by herself–her sister and brother-in-law live in Albany. She moved there for dream job–a meteorologist. However, she was recently laid off and is currently working at a local bar–Red Wing–in Atlanta, Georgia. Anthony Rawlings-a CEO of his own company–comes into her bar and has her breaking all of her rules (no socializing with customers). That night turns into a date and soon into her worst nightmare.
Claire is taken and wakes up in an unknown room and begins to remember the events of the previous night. What she remembers is enough to make the weak run for the hills–but DON”T do it! Keep reading it’s so worth it and know that from chatting while reading this book I have learned that the “WTF is this” or “I can’t read this book” is a common reaction. The beginning is intense (hell, the entire book is intense) but the beginning is quite intense but take a drink (of something real good) and go back to it…you won’t be disappointed!
She is given a set of rules that she must abide by or face the consequences. Rules are added throughout the book and she must adjust and accept in order to survive. What are these consequences? Well, I can’t tell you but trust me it’s not going without T.V. for a week. Once she experiences the consequences to her disobedience Claire begins to understand just how much is at stake.
Tony is a character that is hard to explain because you really have to experience him first hand but I will try and probably fail to really express how complex he really is (err..I can’t stand him–loath is a good word). He is a dark character with many layers and he has a plan and he fully intends on seeing it through but Claire doesn’t respond the way he thinks she will and he is a bit thrown because he is starting to feel and think things that he wasn’t expecting. He fights these “feelings” but there is one pivotal scene in the book that changes him (and wait…I love him <3 <3 ). Everything he does or says–in my opinion–is calculated. His reasons and the depths that he was willing to go to get his end result are unbelievable. You learn about his past a bit–in small snippets–and this helps to understand the “crazy” that is Tony (hate, hate hate Tony).
After that pivotal scene their relationship chances and I swear Claire has Stockholm syndrome–Aleatha gets you so involved in these characters that I tell you now you think YOU have Stockholm syndrome! Things are all happy now(<3 <3 <3 Tony) and Claire understands what it required of her–happy, happy, happy. They fly here, there and everywhere–oh happy, happy, happy!! Hmm, too happy!!!! Happy is scary! (Why doesn’t she run?!?!?! AHHHH!!!) Then the end happens…do I hate him or love him…I’ll never tell you (unless you were in our chat then you know)!
Here are some of my favorite quotes and excerpts from the book (that I can share without spoiling the book–let me tell you though there are a few I wish I could put in here because they are good but then you would know too much):
“Do you like your accommodations?” Anthony’s black eyes shone as his smile widened. “I do not believe you will be leaving so soon. We have a legally binding agreement.”
“It is not the circumstances that make a person a success. It is how that person responds to those circumstances.”
“I told you every action has a consequence. That can be negative, as we’ve seen, or positive. I believe you earned a positive consequence.”
“Thank you.” He rolled to face her. “Thank you for giving yourself. You keep me totally amazed.”
“No, I will need more of this, no matter how the meetings go.”
“Oh, there are so many videos. We can watch for hours.”
“It is your strength and determination that have infuriated me. That strength and resilience has also made me fall in love with you.”
“You are staying here tonight. You are not leaving me, my bed, or my presence.”
“Tony, fill me completely.”
(by Aleatha Romig)
Now, while reading this book I experienced some strong emotional outbursts–yelling at the book/screen, wanting to throw my iPad across the room (WARNING: make sure you have purchased the insurance package for your device before reading…LOL), I wanted a drink or two but I settled for some chocolate (it was good chocolate–homemade) and sleep deprivation. All worth it! While reading I had so many questions. They included: Why Claire? What are Tony’s motives? He’s rich and well known (I mean the guy is dating models) why kidnap someone? Why doesn’t Claire open her mouth and seek help? Why is Tony this way?
I would say all of these questions get answered in some form or another (some with more details). The ending of this book will have your jaw on the floor and you seeking a double of whatever is in your house (alcohol, chocolate or whatever other vice you have available to you). I couldn’t finish a sentence (of any kind) for at least 10 minutes. Throughout the book I posted on my Facebook page and Twitter when I posted I was done I had several ask me what I thought and I just had NO WORDS!!!! Except maybe WTF just happened?!?!?!!?! I am sure you will say that and then 10 minutes later you will say SO much MORE!
I had a great time talking with everyone on Facebook/Twitter and Aleatha joined our conversations from time to time–which I thought was awesome (thanks Aleatha) it made the read that much more fun (considering I was constantly questioning my sanity throughout the read). Here are links to Amazon and Barnes & Noble as well. Visit me on Goodreads to check out my book lists.
As discussed in the Chat here are the pages for suggestions of Book Discussion questions and a Playlist. Chat transcript follows the interview!
Interview with Author Aleatha Romig
Thank you so much for taking the time to talk with me about Consequences. I have had such a great time talking to you during my read of Consequences via Facebook and Twitter. Now that the story has been read I have lots of questions and I am in need of a good therapist referral!
- First and foremost, I need to know: Where did this story originate? How did the characters Tony and Claire come to life?
I don’t know. I imagined the opening scene of Consequences: Claire in the bedroom. I imagined what had happened to her. I decided to write it down. Once I did, I wanted more. I wanted to know the hows and whys. After writing the first chapter or so, I wrote the end: the contents of the box. Then I started connecting the dots.
Tony and Claire took on a life of their own. The more I wrote the more I knew about them.
When Claire opened that box and began searching through it my jaw hit the floor and I was just stared at my screen and had NO words!
- I know each author has their own writing process. Some know exactly where the story will go from beginning to end. Did you see the whole story in your mind? If so, was it just Consequences or did you always know it would be a trilogy?
I didn’t see the “whole” story of any of the individual books. I know the beginning and the end… filling in the middle is the fun part. I just let the story flow. Sometimes as I’m writing I’m as surprised by the direction the story takes as you are!
I wrote Consequences as a standalone book. I didn’t plan on a trilogy. I’d never written before so I didn’t comprehend the complexities of an unplanned trilogy.
Then Truth was supposed to finish the story… but it didn’t. So now, Convicted does.
- You really had to get into the mind of Claire in Consequences—she had to deal with so much, both physical and emotional. Did you do any research while writing this book? If so, what type of research was it? I know I wanted to Goggle the effects of Stockholm Syndrome a few times to make sure I didn’t have it!
I read a lot. I watch crazy TV shows and movies… I’d say that was my research. My daughter is a psychology major and I asked her a few questions along the way. I’m not sure if you had Stockholm syndrome, but Claire definitely suffered from it. She even acknowledges that at one point; and then goes on to say she can’t deny her feelings.
- Okay, I have only read Consequences and have heard that I will love Tony in Truth. However, right now I have some real issues with him and doubting the sanity of some of your fans for saying such things. I often wondered if authors go through the same feelings and emotions their readers go through. So, when writing did you have moments where you had to walk away, wanted to throw something or wanted to scream at Tony? Because I know I wanted to do all those things and more!
Yes! As I wrote this trilogy, I’ve felt incredibly connected to Claire. That said, I believe I went through what many of you have: the fear, the apprehension, the elation, etc. The difference I suppose is that figuratively, I’m also Tony. So, I was able to decide when and where each side/personality of Anthony Rawlings would emerge.
I wrote one scene in Truth, finished it and went to bed. That night I got so mad at myself. I was like, “No, that wouldn’t have happened. Tony would never have allowed that.” I had to get up and rewrite. The second time was so much better… just wait until you read it!!!
- For most of the story, I felt Claire was naïve and wanted to slap her often and say, “Wake up!” She actually infuriated me at a few points (e.g. when she was in NY shopping for the first time). However, by the end of the book I had a new found respect for her and thought that with all she went through she was quite strong. Did she evoke any strong emotions from you while writing?
She did. However, I never felt she was naïve or weak. I suppose I could have gone into more detail of her “fighting” in the beginning, but I didn’t. I alluded to it when she thinks, “Physically fighting had been counterproductive. It only seemed to intensify Anthony’s resolve. She needed to yield, temporarily …”
I thought about famous kidnapping cases: Elizabeth Smart and Jessy Duggard. Those women survived horrible ordeals by concession. Every time I see an Elizabeth Smart interview I’m struck by her grace and quiet resolve. These women were my models for Claire’s behavior. I felt and intended her concession to be her strength. Many times while in Claire’s head, I hoped people would see her internal fight to stay “obedient” on the outside while internally she wanted to say or do something else.
IMO, by the time Tony took Claire to New York, he’d already engrained a fear into her. She was scared to death when he took her to the plane for the first time. Even Brent remembers that about her, seeing her for the first time. Tony likes “tests”. Claire knew NY was a test… surviving the test was her concern. Later in the car she thinks about her sister and berates herself. Nonetheless, Tony knew what he was doing. He wouldn’t have taken her to NY if he thought there was a chance of her disobeying.
- I view Tony as not only a dark character but a very complex one as well. Every time I thought I saw a good side he would do something and I hated him again. How were you able to wrap yourself around a character like him?
I think he is fascinating! I love Anthony Rawlings! That said, I also hate him. He is so fun to write and create. I didn’t know what made him the way he was; I had ideas, but didn’t really know until Truth. I purposely show very little Tony POV in Consequences. It adds to the mystique. I made Tony a compilation of many strong, charismatic arrogant characters: King Henry VIII from the Tudors, Victor Newman from Y&R, and Rhett Butler from Gone With the Wind.
- As a reader, I found some spots in the book particularly difficult to read and wrap my head around. There were also some scenes where I thought “I would deal with Tony and all is sadistic ways for the clothes, shoes and jewelry. Were there certain scenes that were emotionally challenging or difficult to write? Were there scenes where you wanted to live vicariously through Claire?
Yes. The opulent lifestyle was fun to write and imagine. However, what made it even more fun was showing it in a way that wasn’t flattering. It was the fun of the contrast, appearance verses reality. To the world it looked like Claire had everything. In reality she had nothing. Writing the Vanity Fair article was pivotal in showing that contrast.
I did a lot of research on fashion and travel. The cookies on my computer and ads that pop up on the side of my screen believe I have a lot more money than I really do! And yes, I’d love to visit the places they do. Fiji is on my bucket list. Did you know you can rent an island for a week for under 10K? Something to think about!
- Knowing that I have only read Consequences thus far…what do I have to look forward to when I am reading Truth?
Exactly what the title implies. You will learn the Truth behind the Consequences. What was real and what was appearance. What was behind the Consequences Claire endured? Why ? and lastly, Who is Sophia?
- I know from chatting with your fans we are all anxiously awaiting Convicted. What can we expect? How will you blow our minds this time?
Hopefully more of the same! I love twists and turns and throwing curve balls. There are more revelations and “ah ha” moments. Truth introduces many more characters… they are along for the ride in Convicted as well. Some of them are too hot to let get away!
Thank you for the interview, Live Chat and for stopping by my Facebook page. It has been a pleasure talking with you!
Thank you! I’m anxiously awaiting our chat! Not long now…. see you soon, Aleatha

Jan 4 2013, 7:09 PM SerenaKnautz: I think having a book from Tony’s POV would give us the readers a little more into his background and give us a better view of his messed up background. Love the idea and we would love him even more after Jan 4 2013, 7:09 PM AleathaRomig: I have readers that help me along the way. I continually ask, is this interesting enough? Jan 4 2013, 7:09 PM Barbie Bohrman: Have you always been a writer? Jan 4 2013, 7:09 PM AleathaRomig: NO… Consequences is my first book, my first attempt at writing. Jan 4 2013, 7:24 PM Denise Baker Graham: I’m sure my family wishes I wouldn’t have read them over the holidays…I didn’t want to do much but read, and then discuss with anyone I could get to listen to me. Jan 4 2013, 7:24 PM AleathaRomig: But, after my mom read Truth and called me crying telling me who she thought (Book Enthusiast close your eyes) should be with Claire, I knew I’d accomplished a miracle! Jan 4 2013, 7:25 PM bookenthusiast: thank you Aleatha, not looking!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:25 PM AleathaRomig: Denise, thank you!! Sorry about your family! Get all your friends to read so you can discuss! Jan 4 2013, 7:25 PM SerenaKnautz: I read Consequences in the fall, then had to wait a few months for Truth to come out. i thought that was torture until I finished Truth. Jan 4 2013, 7:25 PM Alessandra Torre: love that question, Audrie! Jan 4 2013, 7:25 PM AleathaRomig: If it makes anyone feel better, my Christmas tree isn’t down… I can’t stop writing! Jan 4 2013, 7:26 PM AleathaRomig: Serena, thank you for being one of the earlier readers! Jan 4 2013, 7:26 PM bookenthusiast: lol…my tree is still up b/c I couldn’t stop reading!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:26 PM AleathaRomig: lol! Jan 4 2013, 7:26 PM Melania Melawati Syafrudin: To be honest the 1st time I read Consequences I wasn’t sure about the book. I kept saying to myself “REALLY”??? Glad I kept reading the book and all make sense. Jan 4 2013, 7:27 PM bookenthusiast: POSSIBLE SPOILER QUESTION FOR TRUTH COMING… Jan 4 2013, 7:27 PM Christina Mae Oliver Garcia: NO…. NO MORE HARRY…. IS THE ENDING OF BOOK TWO WHO I THINK IT IS? I CAN ONLY HOPE!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:27 PM AleathaRomig: Melania, I understand. I just read a review of Truth that said, “If you’re considering stopping or not finishing Consequences… Don’t do it! It is worth the ride!” I hope everyone agrees! Jan 4 2013, 7:27 PM Jodie Stipetich: LOVE David Gandy Jan 4 2013, 7:28 PM AleathaRomig: Christina.. that is my #1 secret… There is more Harry AND there is more Tony AND there is more PHIL!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:28 PM Paula Reabold Novack: How are you able to keep all of the characters/timelines together? The story is woven together so well! Jan 4 2013, 7:28 PM AleathaRomig: Jodie, Hell yeah.. Sexy!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:29 PM AleathaRomig: Paula, thank you! I have notes, timelines, a character board.. I refer to my own books over and over!! It is time consuming! Jan 4 2013, 7:29 PM Barbie Bohrman: How do you feel about having a FB fan page created in honor of your books? Jan 4 2013, 7:29 PM AleathaRomig: Barbie, I think it is great!!! Thank you!!! There is a Goodreads discussion too! I love it! My fans are the greatest! Jan 4 2013, 7:30 PM Roya Nabi: That just warmed my belly!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:30 PM Melania Melawati Syafrudin: Aleatha, bad boys are great for book boyfriend but in real life someone like Harry probably better . I can relate to Claire & Tony as my husband is 9 years older. He’s controlling, over protective and successful but thank God he’s not abusive and as “crazy as Tony”. Did you search on abusive relationship when you start writing Consequences? Jan 4 2013, 7:30 PM AleathaRomig: Roya.. ? What Jan 4 2013, 7:31 PM AleathaRomig: Melania, no… like I said, I read and watch crazy stuff! Unfortunately, I also know people in situations, similar, not as intense. NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM Paula Reabold Novack: Would Tony have let Claire go if she chose to leave when he proposed to her. Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM bookenthusiast: Reminder…you can enter to win an autographed copy of Consequences the link is up on my FB page www.facebook.com/thebookenthusiast (expired on 1/4/13) Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM bookenthusiast: Paula I like your question!! Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM AleathaRomig: Paula, I don’t think so Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM AleathaRomig: I believe it was another “test” Jan 4 2013, 7:32 PM Barbie Bohrman: For the record, I agree with Christina…no more Harry…or Phil. I’ve been a Tony girl from the get go. Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM AleathaRomig: Barbie… yes, but some on your facebook page required convincing Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM bookenthusiast: Gotta question about how you are able to get into a man’s POV… Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM jmrehmel: Where do you get ideas for a mans pov? Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM Roya Nabi: It’s was regards to your comment about your mom’s approval, now I feel better!! LOL!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM AleathaRomig: Roya, thanks… you aren’t alone Jan 4 2013, 7:33 PM Christina Mae Oliver Garcia: AT HIS MOMENT SHE HATES TONY AND I KEEP TELLING HER JUST SHUT IT AN READ…. I AM IN LOVE!!! LOL AND YES HARRY IS TO GOOD!!! TONY IS PERFECT HAVE YOU READ WRECKLESS AND EFFORTLESS ? AS FOR TONY’S CHARACTER HAVE YOU SEEN MICHAEL FROM BURN NOTHICE…. I THINK HE WOULD BE PERFECT… JEFFERY DONOVAN WOULD BE THE PERFECT TONY… Jan 4 2013, 7:34 PM AleathaRomig: jmrehmel… well, I asked my husband, but he wasn’t helpful! I asked my boss and son, still no help… I went with what I’d want a man to be thinking… maybe my husband will read??? Jan 4 2013, 7:35 PM bookenthusiast: lol!! Jan 4 2013, 7:35 PM AleathaRomig: Christina, I’ll need to check those guys out. Some people don’t change their mind about Tony. I have a friend who I work with.. she tries daily to direct an anti-Tony storyline! Jan 4 2013, 7:35 PM Jodie Stipetich: I am pretty vocal on Facebook for my love of you as you know and I already read Truth and as happy as I am I still have a ton of questions! Will Courtney be a part of book 3 also Jan 4 2013, 7:36 PM bookenthusiast: AHH sorry possible spoiler Jan 4 2013, 7:36 PM AleathaRomig: I probably shouldn’t have said that about my husband… he has been super supportive. He just wouldn’t tell me what men think about during sex! Jan 4 2013, 7:36 PM bookenthusiast: getting ahead of myself there Jan 4 2013, 7:36 PM bookenthusiast: lmao!! Jan 4 2013, 7:36 PM AleathaRomig: Jodie… at this point, yes.. some… Jan 4 2013, 7:37 PM Paula Reabold Novack: I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the length of your books! I really enjoy a longer novel. So many ebooks released lately are shorter. And both Truth and Consequences were ended perfectly!! Jan 4 2013, 7:37 PM bookenthusiast: Paula I’m with you…I love long books that keep you engaged! Jan 4 2013, 7:37 PM AleathaRomig: Paula, thank you! Curiously, that is an issue for publishers… my books are too long. I have a difficult time saying what could be eliminated Jan 4 2013, 7:38 PM lisamarie_31: Hey Aleatha! You know I’ll pimp your books anywhere, but were you surprised at the way people have responded to your books (a la crazies like us who have FB pages)? Jan 4 2013, 7:39 PM AleathaRomig: Lisa Marie, YES! OMG!!! I never expected anyone but my mom and her friends she forced to read, to read! The fact I’ve sold over 20K books to date is amazing!!! I’m seriously shocked! Jan 4 2013, 7:39 PM bookenthusiast: TRUTH Spoiler…so hard not to read them thoroughly…I sneak small peeks Jan 4 2013, 7:39 PM Roya Nabi: Truth Spoiler: I felt that in Truth,Tony chose to protect Catherine over his own mother. Am I wrong feeling that? Is there more for us to learn about the Rawls family dynamics past in Convicted Jan 4 2013, 7:41 PM AleathaRomig: Roya, I don’t think so. By the time he got to “there” it was too late. He went there to talk to them about Marie. Once it was too late, he chose to protect Marie because he promised to do that Jan 4 2013, 7:41 PM Christina Mae Oliver Garcia: ARE YOU SHOCKED BY THIS SUDDEN LOVE FOR THE TWO BOOKS THAT HAVE US HERE TODAY? AND THANK YOU BARBIE… TONY TONY TONY…. LOL Jan 4 2013, 7:41 PM bookenthusiast: All this Tony love…I can’t take it…I’m still in the hate/loathing stage…lol Jan 4 2013, 7:41 PM AleathaRomig: Book Enthusiast… ha ha… read Truth! Jan 4 2013, 7:42 PM AleathaRomig: Christina, YES! Totally shocked, amazed, awed and wowed!!! You are all the BEST! Jan 4 2013, 7:42 PM bookenthusiast: I’m counting down until I can start!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:42 PM bookenthusiast: that’s 18 minutes, BTW…so get those questions in!! Jan 4 2013, 7:42 PM Jodie Stipetich: My husband loves to give sex opinions his favorite thing to talk about it is how awesome he is Jan 4 2013, 7:42 PM AleathaRomig: When I began TRUTH, my goal wasn’t to turn the world from haters to lovers… I let the characters run the story… Jan 4 2013, 7:43 PM SerenaKnautz: hopefully this year will fly by! (sorry, pushed enter before finished last ?…typing one handed while holding an 8 mo and fighting with a 3 yo to eat…joys of motherhood Have you thought of putting together book club questions? I was just recommending this for ours but wasn’t sure if there were questions out there. Jan 4 2013, 7:43 PM AleathaRomig: Jodie, ha ha… since I made a less than positive comment earlier, I’ll say, “My husband doesn’t need to “say” how good he is!” Jan 4 2013, 7:43 PM bookenthusiast: I think Consequences (and I am sure Truth) would be great for a book club!! LOTS to discuss and drink over! Jan 4 2013, 7:44 PM AleathaRomig: Serena, I haven’t. But that’s a great idea. How many questions per book do you recommend? I’d love to do that. There are some specific points that are pivotal, I’m not sure everyone gets them Jan 4 2013, 7:44 PM Melania Melawati Syafrudin: Aleatha, your books are brilliant. I’m positive your books will be as popular as FSOG as soon as you publish the 3rd book. One thing that stop people from start reading your books or other trilogy books are because WE HAVE TO WAIT for the final book to be released. Most of the readers hate this (I know hate is a strong word). Jan 4 2013, 7:44 PM bookenthusiast: Melania…I have NO patience either!!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:44 PM AleathaRomig: Book Enthusiast, I agree! I’ve visited a few book clubs and it is SO fun! Jan 4 2013, 7:45 PM Paula Reabold Novack: I’m not aware of this Facebook fan page! I need to get on that quick. I’m one of those crazies…LOL Jan 4 2013, 7:45 PM AleathaRomig: Melania, I understand. The publication of TRUTH has definitely propelled Consequences… hopefully Convicted will do the same Jan 4 2013, 7:45 PM bookenthusiast: Can we help Paula out Jan 4 2013, 7:46 PM AleathaRomig: https://www.facebook.com/groups/508181369221683/ Not sure how you join. I was invited?? Can anyone answer?? Barbie? Jan 4 2013, 7:46 PM bookenthusiast: TRUTH spoiler ahead Jan 4 2013, 7:46 PM Barbie Bohrman: TRUTH SPOILER: I got the feeling that at the end of Truth Tony was ‘done’ with Catherine. Then again, it could be the wool being pulled over my eyes Jan 4 2013, 7:48 PM AleathaRomig: Teaser: Barbie, Convicted begins before the Afterwards… when the knock comes on Tony’s door. At that point he doesn’t know about Catherine! Jan 4 2013, 7:48 PM bookenthusiast: AHHH not reading |

Jan 4 2013, 7:48 PM Jodie Stipetich: Agreed the books really are a good book club discussion have you ever thought of writing questions for a book club discussion group Jan 4 2013, 7:49 PM Roya Nabi: Ok one last one and I will hush up. Aleatha was kind enough to give us two POV’s from Tony in the goodreads group. Is there a challenge to write from his perspective? Did they take long to do? CAN WE HAVE MORE??? Jan 4 2013, 7:49 PM AleathaRomig: Jodie, no…but I like the idea. How many questions per book do you recommend? I’d love to do that. There are some specific points that are pivotal, I’m not sure everyone gets them. Jan 4 2013, 7:50 PM AleathaRomig: Roya, the Tony POV’s were more fun to write than I’d imagined!!! Some have asked for books from his POV??? I’m not sure. But I had a great time doing it!! Jan 4 2013, 7:50 PM bookenthusiast: For the length of your books wouldn’t you say like 8 to 10 question…wouldn’t that be fair? Jan 4 2013, 7:50 PM Rachel Drouin Laborde: I tell everyone who will listen at work & I would come to work tell them about Tony and how crazy he was do they started reading & loved them as much as me!! Thanks for being a down to earth person who talks to her fans! (: Jan 4 2013, 7:51 PM bookenthusiast: 10 minutes I am trying to get to everyone to be fair with question time Jan 4 2013, 7:51 PM Barbie Bohrman: Paula – Have to add you as a ‘friend’ then I can add you to that group… Jan 4 2013, 7:51 PM AleathaRomig: Rachel, Thank you for telling your friends! I am thrilled so many people are getting to know my imaginary friends! Jan 4 2013, 7:51 PM Jodie Stipetich: I am thinking atleast 5 discussion points or questions it depends on how deep the questions are really I mean you can have as many as 10 I know that in some of my book discussions we never get passed 5 Jan 4 2013, 7:52 PM Roya Nabi: Paula- you can join us in the goodreads group: ***************************************** Jan 4 2013, 7:52 PM bookenthusiast: I can’t wait to join that group when I am done with Truth…I am sure I will need some therapy!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:53 PM bookenthusiast: Jodie…your probably right…I just love to talk about books!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:53 PM AleathaRomig: I will give those questions some thought. Then I can offer them via Facebook or Goodreads… I’m trying to make a new website, but my kids won’t help and I’m technically incompetent. The ConsequenceByRomig is really out of date…it is associated with my original self publisher, who I’ve left. Jan 4 2013, 7:53 PM AleathaRomig: the Goodreads thread is AWESOME,but it does contain a lot of spoilers… a great place to vent after TRUTH! Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM bookenthusiast: Aleatha…would it be okay to suggest that your fans can post some of their questions on my blog and I can send them off to you?? Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM Whitney Moss: I love your books! I simply cannot wait until you release Convicted. I read Truth in one day. I cannot wait for more Tony and Claire!! Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM AleathaRomig: That is fine! I can’t believe how fast this hour has gone!! Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM bookenthusiast: OMG…6 minutes!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM Nickcole Elwell: If you could pick a wedding song for Tony and Claire what would it by and why? Jan 4 2013, 7:54 PM AleathaRomig: Whitney, Wow! You’re very fast!!! Thank you!!! Jan 4 2013, 7:55 PM bookenthusiast: OMG…is that a spoiler or a wish Jan 4 2013, 7:55 PM AleathaRomig: Nickcole, Wow… I’m not that well versed in music… I need to think about that. Do you have an idea? Jan 4 2013, 7:55 PM Jodie Stipetich: LOL!!! Aleatha I would love to help you in anyway and yes I adore talking about books!! Sometimes to much!! Jan 4 2013, 7:56 PM Denise Baker Graham: thank you so much for this opportunity to learn more, and thank you bookenthusiast for hosting this. Jan 4 2013, 7:56 PM Barbie Bohrman: Their song should be “Crazy” by Patsy Cline Jan 4 2013, 7:56 PM Nickcole Elwell: The last few chapters of Consequences makes me think of the song Don’t speak by No Doubt. Jan 4 2013, 7:57 PM AleathaRomig: It seems people on the Face book group had difficulty logging in…I’m going to talk to them for a while… Jan 4 2013, 7:57 PM AleathaRomig: Nickole, I’ll have to listen and let you know Jan 4 2013, 7:57 PM bookenthusiast: Add your ideas for a playlist too…I will compile and can send them to Aleatha for when she has her updated website up and running Jan 4 2013, 7:57 PM Roya Nabi: Thank you Aleatha and Bookenthusiast , this was so much fun. My mother has been raving about this book. I’ll have to give it a go. Not sure if I’m emotionally ready for it, though.
