Incredible You is, well, incredible. I don’t know how she keeps doing it, but Lili Valente has written another fantastically entertaining, fun and sexy story again including even a little suspense. I absolutely loved Jake and Shane from the very beginning and though I didn’t think it was even possible, they have now become my favorites of this series, or maybe they are at least tied for first.
Jake is in need of some intervention to try and finally convince his ex that their relationship is over. To that end, he has opted to enlist the assistance of a professional who can help him get the job done. In need of a woman’s touch this time, the owner of MBC persistently badgers Shane to help with this new job to which she ultimately agrees. But Shane and Jake’s first meeting is initially threaded with a bit of friction. Despite this, however, they both feel an immediate and undeniable attraction. And although their relationship was supposed to remain strictly business the sparks swiftly begin to fly. This intense passion ultimately and very quickly consumes them both. But Jake’s relentless and demented ex refuses to accept that things are over between them and will do anything she can to bring Jake and Shane’s romance to an end. Will she ultimately succeed, or will Jake and Shane overcome her continued attempts at thwarting their love allowing them to finally find their happily ever after?
Ms. Valente has again included the fun and amusing banter exchanged between the characters not only through the dialog but through text messages as well. I must say, she absolutely has a gift for that not to mention the hot and steamy passion exuded between them. I loved the first two books in this series, but Incredible You has completely blown me away. I really enjoy the alternate POVs of both Shane and Jake. It’s so much fun knowing what’s going through the minds of both the hero and the heroine which allows me to get into their heads to know exactly what they are both feeling. Ms. Valente has also given us a fun and entertaining surprise at the end including a second epilogue. I obviously cannot be specific, but what a fantastic conclusion to this incredibly sexy and entertaining story. Ms. Valente, you definitely scored a goal with this one.
“You’re not a klutz,” I say, guiding her closer. “I love the way you move.”
“Yeah?” She bites her lip, bringing to mind that list of bitable body parts I hope to be getting from her later.
“Yeah,” I say, my gaze fixed on her sexy mouth.
“I could watch you walk across a room all day long. Just the way your hips shift beneath your clothes drives me crazy.”
“Real life crazy,” she says softly.
“Real life crazy,” I confirm. “So crazy that on the way up in that elevator, it was all I could do not to flip the emergency switch.”
Her lashes sweep down and back up, heat flickering in her eyes. “And what would you have done after you flipped the switch, dragon?”
“I would have kissed you, princess.” I don’t bother to hide the hunger in my voice. “I would have pushed you up against the wall and kissed every part of you not covered by that sexy as fuck dress. And then I would have gone after the covered parts, just to see how far you would let me go before you told me to stop.”
“And what if I didn’t tell you to stop?”
Her tongue sweeps across her lips and my cock jerks hard in my pants, losing the battle against what this woman does to me.
“Then I guess our first time would have been in an elevator.” I pull her closer, jaw clenching as her stomach presses against where I’m hard enough to slay dragons with my cock.

“No, it’s not,” I insist. “It’s the rightest thing I’ve felt in so damned long. And as long as you want me, too, I don’t—”
“Oh, I do.” Her words send a fierce wave of relief rushing through me. “I want you, Jake. I want you so much I can barely think of anything else.”
