This book was really good. I was hooked from the dark and twisty start and it just got better from there. I loved that this story didn’t really focus on the MC and rather the couple in the book. Sometimes reading about all the rules and rank of the MC gets boring – especially when you read a lot from this topic/genre.
Arthur “Kill” Killian is the president of an MC. His rise to the top was unconventional and definitely not welcomed. After spending about four years in jail (of his life sentence) he’s released and thrusted into the position of president and determined to clean up the MC. The one thing that’s fueling his every breath is revenge until one night when all that changes.
Our protagonist, has no idea who she is or where she came from or why she’s been thrust into the situation she’s in but the one thing she’s certain of is the person staring at her is someone she knows but how is a huge mystery.
This story was addicting and refreshing from the typical MC books. It kept me guessing and kept me on the edge. I lost a few hours of sleep over this one. It’s hard to review this book without wanting to spill the beans on the best parts so I’ll say that if you like any of the following genres – MC/thriller/dark-ish romances – then you’ll love this one and be prepared to jump right into the next book.
