This was a pretty hot read with some sweetness thrown in. Kate and Bradley become step siblings and Kate has always had a crush on Bradley. Who wouldn’t? Bradley comes from a family with billions and he looks like a greek god. Now comes the problem; Bradley had some friends over to party in which Bradley ends up passing out while the friends record Kate in the bathroom with some very “private” moments which they post online. Kate is beyond humiliated and blames Bradley for doing this since she never stuck around to see what part he played in it. Her mom and stepdad send Kate off to boarding school and she never sees Bradley again until 10 years later when his father dies unexpectedly. She doesn’t know how she will be able to face him even after all the therapy she has went through.
Bradley never got the chance to explain to Kate what really happened and how sorry he was that this happened to her because he really did/does have a thing for her. Upon burying his father a huge storm hits the Hamptons and Kate and Bradley are stuck together with no way to escape. Will they be able to come to terms with what happened so long ago and how does this all affect the couple and their feelings that they have that never went away? About the time you can’t wait to see what their next step is…Yep, cliffhanger. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
