I am so excited for this book. While I loved the Shadows book, how things ended for Selena and Trez never sat well with me. I’m so glad the author found a way for all to be well with this couple, as unconventional as it is, it also works well for the BDB world.
This is not in any way a negative, but please don’t go into this story expecting a full blown BDB story. This is a bit more laid back as the fighting and war take a backseat to mending the things left broken at the end of The Shadows.
